This is the basic set of poses for the Tech character. Royce I believe:) I would also do an attack set, which I can't seem to find right now. LAter.

Another pose sheet. This was done in Sketchbook. It wasn't long after this that I started posing in Flash because it's faster and more flexible.

This is the tech character from that game that never got released. More to come soon. Nels says "look at him go!"

These guys are some variations on the Basher design by yours truly! We actually set up the anim pipeline to handle all those weapon variations within one Flash file.  Some anim cycles to come shortly.

Here's another lineup we didn't use. Dan Yu did the rough sketches for these and I tightened them up. Just some subtle variation going on.

More of the creature type concepts. Definitely inspired at the time by Kung Fu Panda and also I think I was scope'n that old Disney cartoon Gargoyles. More of that silhouetty business as well.

In the lineup on the top, the idea was just to focus entirely on silhouette and then build the detail up from there. The game characters were going to be "skinable" so I started doing some variations on the creature character.

Hey everyone! A while back I had the chance to do some concept work for a game we were trying to reboot. Yo! Scanned the sketchbook a little. I don't know what it is but it seems like the more work I have to do the more random sketching happens. Guess it's nice to just do stuff for no reason. Hope you enjoy Thor's crotch shot. And yes Wolverine's kite got stuck. Later.

Shank 2

Yo! So... been posting some Shank 2 stuff lately. Figured maybe some poses of Shank would be cool!  These were done in Sketchbook Pro before I switched to doing all my posing in Flash. You can see here how we often indicate re-use for the builders. Have a good one!
