Another pose sheet. This was done in Sketchbook. It wasn't long after this that I started posing in Flash because it's faster and more flexible.

Basher costumes

These guys are some variations on the Basher design by yours truly! We actually set up the anim pipeline to handle all those weapon variations within one Flash file.  Some anim cycles to come shortly.


This was the final design we settled on for the Basher class in the game. Jeff Agala did the final design, this is just a pose I did for some promo stuff.

Here's a few more random ones. I still wanna use that ninja for something sometime.
Here's another lineup we didn't use. Dan Yu did the rough sketches for these and I tightened them up. Just some subtle variation going on.


More of the creature type concepts. Definitely inspired at the time by Kung Fu Panda and also I think I was scope'n that old Disney cartoon Gargoyles. More of that silhouetty business as well.


Just more variations of the same. I was toying with using a little more texture on these guys.
In the lineup on the top, the idea was just to focus entirely on silhouette and then build the detail up from there. The game characters were going to be "skinable" so I started doing some variations on the creature character.
Hey everyone! A while back I had the chance to do some concept work for a game we were trying to reboot. Things didn't work out and the game was never finished but I did have a lot of fun working on it. I'll be posting some design work as well as some of the animation in the next little while. Later.
