Morphs.
More of the creature type concepts. Definitely inspired at the time by Kung Fu Panda and also I think I was scope'n that old Disney cartoon Gargoyles. More of that silhouetty business as well.
Hey everyone! A while back I had the chance to do some concept work for a game we were trying to reboot. Things didn't work out and the game was never finished but I did have a lot of fun working on it. I'll be posting some design work as well as some of the animation in the next little while. Later.

Bond, James
The monthly topic at Planet-Pulp is 007, so I figured I'd go for something kinda classic. Hope you guys like it.

Sketch time
Yo! Scanned the sketchbook a little. I don't know what it is but it seems like the more work I have to do the more random sketching happens. Guess it's nice to just do stuff for no reason. Hope you enjoy Thor's crotch shot. And yes Wolverine's kite got stuck. Later.

Shank 2
Yo! So... been posting some Shank 2 stuff lately. Figured maybe some poses of Shank would be cool! These were done in Sketchbook Pro before I switched to doing all my posing in Flash. You can see here how we often indicate re-use for the builders. Have a good one!

Shank 2 boss poses
Hey guys. Here's another pose breakdown from Shank 2. This is the Doctor boss, I sadly didn't get to animate him but still had a lot of fun posing him out. All these poses were drawn in Flash and you can see that the cleanup isn't super tight but that's because we have the build stage (converting the poses to symbols) which brings the drawings to full cleanup with a vector line. More to come! Later.

Shank 2
Hey everyone. So, Shank 2 dropped a little while back and I've got some groovy stuff to show from the production and promo side of things. I thought I'd start with Jeff's title splash. The 2nd image is a variant cover I did for the Shank comic (which I'll post here asap). I was allowed to do whatever I wanted so that's what came out. The model sheet below shows some of the poses for the boss Razor. In terms of work flow I would basically rough animate a good portion of the boss by hand in Flash and then take a variety of those poses to clean up so we could build off them. We would then go back over the rough animation with Flash symbols and finish the character off. I've been planning to make a process video for this for quite some time, hopefully one day I'll actually post it! Hope you all dig, more to come soon.

The Wall
Friends! Here's the second page of the comic. Kevin originally wrote the story as a 2 page stand alone. Then we decided to add a couple more 2 page chapters that we would disperse throughout the book...Eventually it just became an 8 page piece, but if it feels like it's coming in distinct 2 page sections it is. Hope you guys like.

The Wall
This is the first page of the new 8 page comic I'm contributing to Cloudscape this time around. I'll post all 8 pages as they come in, lettered, from Kevin. Again Kevin wrote this one and so far I think it be our best stuff. I hope you guys enjoy. The book is black and white, hence no color. That's not to say there won't be eventually though... we'll see. I'll be sure to keep everyone up to date on when the book comes out and where ya can get it! Later.

MIGS Animation Award
Here ya go mom! Haha. This is the first photo I've found from MIGS that shows some award winning action. Good times! They did official photos off to the side after the award but I've been unable to find those. Later.
Chromazone
Hey guys. This is a mock screen cap from the game pitch I put together last year. Just found it looking for other stuff so I figured I'd throw it up. I never did make a demo but that ship hasn't sailed yet so we'll see. Take care.

Captain America
Hey friends! This is the piece for Planet-Pulp this month. The theme was time travel an despite the number of awesome options I chose to do a frozen Cap. Never drew him before so this seemed like a good chance. I've been told being frozen in an iceberg for 40 years an then thawing out can seem like time travel.

Terminator
Allo! This is a piece I did for the Planet Pulp Blog. Figured I'd throw a little process compilation together. It was a good time doing a little light table, ink, marker action! Oh ya this was done to celebrate Stan Winston's Career. What an amazing guy. One of these days I'll get the chance to see his creations fa real! Later.
